Our Team

The World of Words team is passionate about supporting teachers in order to optimize their work with children. We want all children to succeed, and so our work aims to close the gaps in vocabulary learning between low and high-income children. By collaborating with teachers, we are able to expose children to vocabulary they may not otherwise hear. From there, our goal is to help children build on that vocabulary knowledge to create connections to deeper scientific concepts. By providing teachers with the tools they need for this easy-to-use program, we have shown through multiple trials that we can accelerate children’s vocabulary learning and conceptual development.
